Need a Date Idea for Christmas Break?

Tis’ the season to hear your mom yell at a pine tree that doesn’t fit through your door-frame, and listen to the overplayed music on the radio. Christmas is the holiday that brings out the people that love the cheerful spirit and the not-so-much ones. The cheery holiday not only brings loved ones together, but also comes with a joyful atmosphere, snowball fights, and cheap yet cozy Santa Claus socks that are approved to wear year round.

While sipping hot cocoa by the fireplace and binge watching the Countdown to Christmas movies on Hallmark is almost the best way to spend Christmas, going out with a loved one can be fun too. I asked a few couples around WCHS how they are going to spend the most wonderful time of the year together, and here were some of their responses.

Skylar and Nick

“Well, we’re spending Christmas dinner with each other’s families and exchanging gifts. I’m looking forward to taking her hunting and going out to dinner and a movie.”

Michael and Katie

“We’ll probably make snowmen and play in the snow most of the time, and then go inside and drink some hot cocoa while watching The Office.”

Brian and Carrie

“Brian and I plan to go see the Christmas lights. We also intend on spending a whole day making Christmas related baked goods together.”
